THE TOP TEN REASONS CHURCHES NEED PROOFREADERS FOR THEIR BULLETINS
  1. Scouts are saving aluminum cans, bottles and other items to be recycled. Proceeds will be used to cripple children.
  2. The eight-graders will be presenting Shakespeare's Hamlet in the church basement on Friday at 7 p.m. The congregation is invited to attend this tragedy.
  3. The Rev. Merriwether spoke briefly, much to the delight of the audience.
  4. Potluck supper; prayer and meditation to follow.
  5. Ushers will eat latecomers.
  6. The Low Self-Esteem Support Group will been Thursday at 7:00-8:30 p.m. Please use the back door.
  7. For those of you who have children and don't know it, we have a nursery downstairs.

  9. Don't let worry kill you off--let the church help.
  10. The Pastor would appreciate it if the ladies of the congregation would lend him their electric girdles for the pancake breakfast next Sunday morning.
