In this project, we were to choose an invention of the 20th Century and create a complex composition tracing its development through time. I chose the invention of video games and picked three of four of the most popular video game characters and one of my favorites to illustrate its history. I created windows/frames in the background and set the focal point, Lara Croft, on top of them. This helped to unify the image. I also broke up the background by keeping one frame from being full color. This image was done with prisma colors and ink.
